The MB-9515AH EP S is a four-wheel, externally powered adjustable cargo trailer with a hydraulically adjustable platform that raises to 45 ¼ inches, high enough to load and offload the C-130 and other aircraft.
Independent hydraulics at all four corners align the deck with the height and angle of V-22, H-53, and C-130 cargo ramps.
A self-contained external power system raises the trailer to full height in less than two minutes, and a synchronized mode keeps the deck level when ascending and descending.
Military and commercial customers use the trailer to transport general cargo, fully loaded 463L pallets, munitions, and the F-35 engine power module in a specialized Power Module Transport skid.
The trailer is internal air transportable in the V-22, H-53, C-130, C-17, and C-5.
Every trailer is built in America with domestically sourced assemblies and components.
The MB-9515AH EP S grew directly out of feedback from the fleet.
When Marines needed a trailer that could reach C-130 loading height, Dixequip built a hi-lift version on the same proven footprint as the MB-9515A.
Raising a full load that high by hand took hundreds of pump strokes, so Marines asked for external power.
Dixequip added a second hydraulic system powered by a portable power unit, then a synchronized deck so crews could raise heavy loads quickly and level, without corner-by-corner adjustments.
A second hydraulic pump, driven by a variable-speed portable power unit, makes the trailer fully self-contained. No separate ground power is needed.
A separate synchronized hydraulic system lets the power unit raise all four corners evenly at maximum speed, keeping the deck level.
In sync mode, the deck does not tilt, which protects munitions and sensitive cargo during the lift.
A powered hydraulic pump and centralized controls for tilt (front to rear and side to side), elevation, deck side shift, and brakes are grouped at a single control station on the left side of the trailer.
The hydraulic deck shifts up to 2 inches in either direction from center to align cargo with the aircraft centerline.
Galvanized conveyor rollers on roller bearings move uniform loads up to 10,300 lb to and from aircraft and vehicles.
A fold-down, removable winch at the front center of the frame carries 35 feet of usable synthetic line with a 21,700 lb breaking strength.
Fold-down pallet restraints and D-rings for tie-down are located on each side and at the front and rear of the trailer, compliant with MIL-STD-209.
Integrated fork pockets allow the trailer to be lifted and positioned by forklift when needed.
A static discharge strap grounds the trailer to protect personnel and sensitive cargo.
Breakaway cables provide an added safety measure during towing.
A parking brake lock lever and quick release operate from the control station.
Puncture-free tires deliver higher load capacity, minimal maintenance, and low operating cost.
A removable tow bar with a 3-inch pintle ring stows securely under the frame, and a rear pintle hook lets multiple trailers connect to a single tow vehicle.
A 12- or 24-volt LED light package (brake, running, and blackout lights) is available, with a rear connection for tandem towing.
